Random utrop av “ofan” mitt i natten

by Erika on Saturday 7 March 2009, 03:34 | Comments

(Dagens garv.)

10818! Det du!

by Erika on Wednesday 25 February 2009, 22:06 | Comments

Effing effing effing

by Erika on Friday 13 February 2009, 01:08 | Comments

A brief warning: The following does not conform to the “I am so cool rational and intelligent” image I’ve been trying to adopt. It is also a bit rant-y and might sound slightly bitter. Consider yourself warned.

All right, first off it should be noted that I have one hell of a talent for getting crushes on people (as long as the gender is right, other details don’t seem to matter). Secondly, I seem to have a bad habit of having these crushes for ridiculously large amounts of time. However, I have never before fallen in love, out of it and then back again with the same person after n years.

There are so many ways in which this will fail.

Copie blanche

by Erika on Tuesday 6 January 2009, 11:24 | Comments

Well almost … I wrote two words, a question mark and a sad smiley on it. (”zero points ? :( “)

It took fifteen minutes to work up the courage to hand it in (after I had sat there for an hour and a half wondering what the heck I’m supposed to have learnt again), and the look on the lecturer’s face when he took it … Ho. Ly. Cow. He was flabbergasted. Never in my life have I so desperately wanted to run far far away, dig a little hole for myself and hide in it until the world forgets who I am.

I knew it was bad, I just didn’t realise it was this bad.
There’s a first time for everything, I guess …
I am (honest to God, whatever that means) shivering right now. This is scary.

Conversation practice [note]

by Erika on Monday 15 December 2008, 11:37 | Comments

I must share my excitement. I just survived a ten-minute random chat with a random classmate who randomly appeared out of nowhere giving me quite a scare (I was deeply immersed in Wikipedia surfing), and during those ten minutes of chatting I spoke almost as fast as I speak English, I only stopped once to think about grammar and I only once caught myself making a masculine/feminine error (which doesn’t mean I didn’t do more of them, but hey). Wow. French-only “The Bourne Identity” (and, accidentally, 45 minutes of “Back to the Future” before coming to my senses and switching to the English track) seems to have done me some good, after all.

If I seem absent-minded or confused, it’s because my sleeping patterns are all screwed up of late.

Moderskeppet?

by Erika on Monday 17 November 2008, 00:49 | Comments
